This October, our sermon series asks us to look at how God has welcomed us in. Before we ever knew about faith or grace, we were offered grace. God made room for us, has been generous with us, and has given us hope; and then God asks us to offer the same gifts to others. That is what stewardship is all about: not what we owe, but what we have been given. We'll look at how God has been generous with us, and ask what it means to tend that gift and pass it on, so the same welcome, the same grace, and the same hope reach someone who is still searching.

The series ends almost back where we began. "Come and see" becomes "go and find". We were invited to follow Jesus, and now that we have followed and believe, we go out to invite others. There is a place at the table for everyone. God has been generous with the gifts. So, now we go and do likewise.
