Faith is a complicated thing. Understanding the roots of our faith so that we can live as disciples of Jesus gets tricky. But, sharing our faith with others is where things can get messy. This series will help us look at the commands to "love God" and "love others" in a new way so that we can be prepared and excited to share the love of God with anyone and everyone we meet.

Moving? Spring cleaning? We need your gently used items or if you wish you can buy a new item for the shower on April 20. Drive up and drop off. The team will be there to get the items. Needed are sheets, towels, blankets, shower curtains, rods, dishes, glasses, silverware, dish towels, kitchen utensils, knives, toasters, crock pots, can openers, grills, toaster ovens, skillets, saucepans, frying pans, cookie sheets, baking dishes, lamp, fan, sweepers, coffee pots. If you use it – folks setting up an apartment need it. Bring one item or as much as you like.

Ash Wednesday service on February 14 will be a new format with service at 11:30 am in the Sanctuary with the imposition of ashes followed by a soup lunch from noon until 1:30 pm in the social room. Mary Circle members will be preparing soup, dessert with bread, chips and drink for a donation. The soup lunch will be in place of the Pancake Supper.

 If you plan to attend lunch, please check the Connection Card on Sunday or call the church office at 740-349-7020.  If you cannot attend, Neal Av UM, 12 Neal Av, Newark and Centenary UM in Granville will have services at 7:00 pm on Ash Wednesday.
