Worship with us in person or on YouTube!
This October, our sermon series asks us to look at how God has welcomed us in. Before we ever knew about faith or grace, we were offered grace. God made room for us, has been generous with us, and has given us hope; and then God asks us to offer the same gifts to others. That is what stewardship is all about: not what we owe, but what we have been given. We'll look at how God has been generous with us, and ask what it means to tend that gift and pass it on, so the same welcome, the same grace, and the same hope reach someone who is still searching.
When Jesus called his first disciples, he didn't give them a test of faith - he simply invited them to follow. That pattern held through his whole ministry. He healed, fed, forgave, and taught people before he asked them to believe. Belonging came first, and believing grew out of it. What would it look like to be a church where anyone can find a place to belong, and a place where anyone can meet Jesus?
