Shower Ministry
Shower donations are greatly appreciated! Donations can be accepted on Fridays from 9am-2pm during the ministry hours, entrance is in the alley across the street from UDF, look for the signs. Currently, clothing items are not needed. Most needed items are travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors/ shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and hand sanitizer. Additional items needed are pop top ravioli, individual serving sizes of crackers, peanut butter, cookies, fruit cups or chips. Donations can be purchased from our Amazon Wishlist and sent directly to the coordinators. Financial contributions can be mailed to First UMC, Shower Ministry, PO Box 729, Newark, OH 43058.

Shower
If you are in need of a shower, use our facilities! Entrance is at the lower level of the church, accessible from Locust St, across the street from UDF. You are welcome to hang out as long as you need to!
Serve
A team of volunteers are needed for this ministry. Set up for the ministry, greet those coming to shower, clean up, provide lunch and more. Sign up below to help with this ministry!
Support
Can you provide a light lunch on a Friday or items that can be sent for a meal later? Donations of non perishable items such as fruit cups, crackers, cans of beef stew or ravioli (pop top), chips, etc can be given to Kayla Jones or Pastor Peter.
