Shower donations are greatly appreciated! Donations can be accepted on Fridays from 9am-2pm during the ministry hours, entrance is in the alley across the street from UDF, look for the signs. Currently, clothing items are not needed. Most needed items are travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors/ shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and hand sanitizer. Additional items needed are pop top ravioli, individual serving sizes of crackers, peanut butter, cookies, fruit cups or chips.
To reserve the flowers on the altar, email Kayla at flowers@firstchurchnewark.org. The first Sunday flowers are $25 for each pedestal (2 total-$50) and the remaining Sundays are $45 each. You can take the flowers after 12:00pm or they will be given to a shut in.
The Chapel Bible Study will start Sept 11 and run through May 28, 2025 on Wednesday’s. More information can be found here.
C.A.S.E.Y.’s Cupboard is in in need of all household items, new or gently used. Purchases can also be made using the Amazon Wishlist for direct shipping. Donations can be dropped off at the church office or brought on Sundays.
